What to expect after termination
Cramps and bleeding

Fever, weakness, diarrhea, vomiting, and nausea.
Call our office right away if, more than 24 hours after taking them, you have nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and weakness, with or without fever or abdominal pain. After taking, a temperature of 101° F or higher may be considered normal. About an hour after the bleeding starts, your temperature should return to normal. Drink a lot of water. Get in touch with the clinic if your temperature does not go down in three hours. After day four, if you experience a temperature greater than 100.4°F, please get in touch with our office immediately.
A follow-up appointment
Seven to ten days following your first visit, you will return to AWC for a follow-up vaginal ultrasound. Two to three percent of women who use the abortion option technique will still have pregnancy tissue in their uterus at their follow-up visit, and about one percent will not end their pregnancies. Following the abortion, you will talk about aftercare. You will probably need surgery to complete the abortion if you are still pregnant.
